Wedding Videography: The Digital Age

Wedding videography has changed over the years. We started with VHS tapes than we moved to DVDs, now we are in the era of Blu Ray. It surprises me that people still prefer DVDs to Blu Ray.

I must admit it is sometimes frustrating to shoot in 1080-4k resolution, but than a client wants to view his or her wedding on a DVD, which is not HD compatible. But this blog is not intended to convince why DVDs are old…

Even though they are.

It is intended to showcase our latest digital age change. We have bypassed Blu Ray and embraced the digital uploads.

I always wondered when the day would come where cinematographers would be able to upload full DVD/Blu ray features like my fellow wedding photographers. Wedding photographers are able to upload full wedding albums online to allow clients to download. I am happy to say we are now in the age of full DVD uploads to cloud. We at Intellect Media have now made it easier for our clients to get the full DVD experience, and maintain true quality.

My clients will now be able to not only watch their wedding online, but also download a version of it for whatever platform they want to put it on. Whether it be DVD, Blu Ray, or USB. It can all be doneā€¦Thanks to Mediazilla. If you are a wedding cinematography, I highly recommend this jewel for your wedding videography business.

I had the pleasure of working with the lovely ladies of Emily Weddings, Inc. I am pretty sure I thought all of them were named Emily, but I was wrong. They made ship stayed calm. Brittany, Kate, and Terrie made sure whatever questioned I had, they answered before I could even answer it. Now that I think about it, which was pretty unreal. They were that good.
