We have finally reached a point where I feel that brides are seeking us out. I feel like that news is music to my ears! I remember when I first came into the industry, wedding videography was considered luxury. Times have changed….somewhat!
Now, I am one of the biggest advocates of people understanding the difference between videographers and cinematographers. I won’t go into too much, but they both have their place. Now the wedding industry has to make room for a new addition, streaming. I love the idea! It is a win-win for all brides.
I don’t know how it happened or when it happened, but brides discovered the term “raw footage”. I am not saying it is a bad term, but I am being honest, I hate the term. I don’t get why a bride wants to see the original footage from her wedding videographer. The clips names are all the same. They are separated by numbers. The colors are flat, dull, and pretty unpleasant to the eye. Why would a bride want this? Than I thought about it. She wants to see everything from the most important day in her life. She wants wedding videography in her wedding because we preserve memories. We allow her to go back to that day, perfect or not, and remember it.
I believe that is where View It Do It comes in. They allow you to relive that moment from the beginning of the ceremony to the end of the reception. You won’t have to watch a one-minute clip here then a five-minute clip there. You can play the video from start to finish. View It Do It also streams the wedding live. Are you at a point where you don’t know who to invite or not invite. This can be made easier with streaming. Now all your guests can watch the whole wedding day in HD from their homes and phones.
Wedding videography has grown to include a large variety of options to make sure you have the right videographer for you. I am happy to announce Intellect Media has partnered with View It Do It, and we will now be offering a package with them to our 2017 wedding clients.
