Dustin & Jamie have endured hard times on the road to planning their big day. What was supposed to be a beautiful moment in time; quickly became stress and anxiety.
Insert COVID-19!
Literally a month before the wedding day, everything was shut down because of COVID-19. There were no words or level of optimism we could say to Jamie to lift her spirits. The wedding had to be postponed.
This current pandemic has made it difficult for any couple who had dreams of getting married in 2020. The unknown is the hard part to digest. What if the pandemic is not over by the end of 2020? How many times does a couple want to keep postponing their wedding before they finally call it quits? Those are the thoughts that are going through their minds. Dustin & Jamie decided to postpone to December. But, life had other plans.
After a few life changes, the couple decided to move the date up to July. Who knows what the world will look like in December? This couple was not going to take the risk. They reached out to us 3 weeks prior to the wedding date and told us the change. We couldn’t have been happier. Dustin & Jamie deserved the proper wedding. They deserved to celebrate their love with their closest family and friends, but it wouldn’t be that easy.
The wedding day came with some more hurdles. The wedding day was filled with a record high of 106 degree heat index temperature during the ceremony, torrential downpour during the reception and the power going out, but we got this couple married! We hope you enjoy this short wedding teaser!
