Don’t get me wrong, networking, likability, portfolio, website look, good customer service, etc, etc, etc, is all-important. I could name 50 things that are important, but one word embodies all those things: BRAND.

Your brand is all you have. My brand is all I have. When a client looks for wedding videography, I want my brand to speak to them. Whether its by referral, website look up, or magazine, my brand has to be consistent. You can’t unlock your true success until you learn brand consistency.
What does your brand say about you? I spent the entire 2015 setting up my brand. My film looks, my marketing materials, my website, my magazine ads; I wanted to make sure it was all-consistent with what I wanted to showcase. I wanted to make sure it attracted the right clients that I was looking for. Your brand can attract a certain bride. Yes, it is true. Without it, how can a bride see herself in your films?
It doesn’t take a ton of work. It simply just takes time. I had to figure out what do I want to stand for, than build from there. I wanted to stand for cinema. Simple as that. So when a client researched Intellect Media, I wanted them to think of cinema. I went through my share of logos, websites, and film looks.
