Dana and Clarice’s wedding took place on a day, where the weather was nothing short of perfection. The Rose Garden at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens was filled with roses that when shined on, pop out at you when looking through a camera. There are times when a wedding is so perfect that all you have to do is focus the camera and let it sit. I found myself doing that often because of the love Dana and Clarice shared with one another. Anytime the sun is respectable to an outdoor wedding, you know the couple is special. The sun did not shine in Clarice’s face, instead in wrapped around her body to give her the look of an angel. Dana, generally a chill guy, could not hold back his love for Clarice, as he could not take his eyes off of her. Will Hawkins and I found out the best way to pose this couple for portraits was just let them be themselves. They truly created a masterpiece without any direction. When love is this strong, you simply step back and let it control the day. Carla Walker of Touché Weddings and Events made sure love was the only thing in the air as she took away all stress, doubt, and issues that could have happened. Walter Baker of Baker Entertainment made sure the dance floor was packed.
